Valle Road truck detour
Trucks will be detoured on Valle Road to accommodate the street-widening project that is part of a City requirement for developer SunCal's Pacifica San Juan development. Valle Road is being widened from San Juan Creek Road to La Novia Avenue.
The contractor will narrow the lanes on Valle Road to remove shoddy pavement before connecting the new, widened roadway. The narrow lanes will not provide enough turning room for trucks turning right from San Juan Creek Road onto Valle Road.
The detour for trucks to access I-5 northbound will be on southbound Camino Capistrano to the Stonehill Drive and I-5 northbound on-ramp. The detour is expected to last two months.
